The 10th RMS user forum was an astounding success!

What a fantastic two days had by all our customers and partners who joined us at Castle Malwood, the event was most enjoyable and thought-provoking for us all, and the sun shone!.  It all began on Wednesday evening for the awards ceremony hosted by TV Comedian Ian Moore who proved to be a huge hit. – For the awards it was a very close race, with many nominees being awarded ‘highly commended’ status for their use of RMS solutions, Congratulations to our well deserved winners listed below and a big thank you to our judging panel Diane Wehrle – Marketing and Insights Director, Springboard Research Ltd, Phil Chapman Sales and marketing Director itim, Bruce Dove President/Managing Director Brand view and Tony Houldsworth Business Development Director PCMS Group PLC.

Thursday’s User Forum started with a look back at our key achievements in 2014-2015, followed by Karl Martinscroft (Wilkos) sharing where they are after 5 great years of using RMS Activity Planner (Trading) solution and still building on great success. Diane Wehrle (Springboard) gave a fascinating and insightful presentation “It`s not just footfall data its footfall information empowering your business decisions”.  We also heard from Mark Court and Dan Barker from the Entertainer sharing how to maximise the compliance and drive selling through using RMS Spoke/Unified Comms solution. Plus of course some insightful sharing on the roadmap future with Simon Mills discussing our RMS People solution and Tracey Fagan and Chris Ferns discussing and demonstrating the powerful new features of RMS Spoke/Unified Comms solution.  As if this wasn`t enough Jim Chapman and Rob Morgan invited us to share the world of Print showing us with a live demonstration on how ticketing can become colourful and help deliver increased profit.

Karen Dyke introduced us all to the future of RMS with our new branding ‘Metro’. Metro is our brand name for the collective toolset of applications to achieve perfect coordinationcompliance and execution in a distributed environment such as Retail. It removes the need for dozens of expensive and difficult to maintain applications from different vendors to consolidate into one interconnected suite.

Having the opportunity to share our journey directly with our customers enables RMS to remain focused on delivering exactly what they need, within a truly agile environment. Following the presentation of our key achievements from 2014-15, we were proud to demonstrate key aspects of our software to attendees, and later discuss their implementation across the retail sector as well as other vertical markets.

We will soon be planning the next event, and we’re already looking forward to seeing the return of many customers, new award winners, and some new faces too!
