With the retail, hospitality and healthcare industries significantly affected due to Covid-19, we do not feel it would be right to proceed with this year’s Metro Forum and have therefore taken the difficult decision to cancel it for this year.
Given the rapidly changing environment we find ourselves in, we do not feel rescheduling the event (in its current format) to later in the year is practicable and so believe this to be the best course of action. It also reflects our desire to give everyone involved as much notice as possible. This decision has not been taken lightly but feel it is important to allow the industries we serve to focus on rebuilding and accelerating their businesses in the months ahead.
Naturally, we still have a huge desire to keep our customers (and perspective customers), up to date with the latest product developments and industry trends, and so we are actively looking at options to bring a mini version of the forum to you later this year (social distancing, venues and technology permitting) – in the meantime we are keen to hear your thoughts and ideas on this idea (including whether you would be willing to let us pitch up in your carpark for a few hours and do this!) – please respond directly to Karen and Rob if you can help!
If you have already registered for this year’s event, this will automatically be transferred to our new date in 2021, however, if you can’t make the new date please let us know and we will remove you from our registration database. Metro Forum 2021 will be held on Thursday 8th July
